About Jeffrey H. Craven:

Jeff lives along the Snake River with his wife Nancy, in a studio that he built from an old homestead home. He attended Idaho State University in Fine Art and worked as an illustrator for the Department of Energy before choosing to be a full-time professional artist in 1979. Having a profound connection to nature, as an artist I strive to breathe life into each canvas, depicting the allure of the natural world.
"My adventurous spirit doesn't stop at my easel – it carries me into the wild, where I relish the thrill of discovery and the serenity of solitude. Fishing, too, is a passion of mine, a skill that binds me even more deeply to nature's rhythms. I reside in Rigby, Idaho, where I’m continuously inspired by the beauty around me.
These diverse aspects of my life do more than co-exist; they inform and inspire one another, creating a unique tapestry of experiences that add a profound depth to my work, and allow me to engage my viewers in an extraordinary way."
