MARILYN ROSE
Still Life
Marilyn Rose embarked on her serious study of art in 1992, studying with dozens of renowned artists. She has had several one-artist shows and has participated in dozens of gallery shows in California, Southern Utah and across the U.S. as well as being juried into several national shows. More than 500 of her paintings are in private collections across the United States and in the U.K. She is a signature member of the American Impressionist Society and a member of the California Art Club and Oil Painters of America. She is an active member in Southern Utah's local art community and loves to create monthly opportunities for plein air painting along with teaching classes.
About Marilyn Rose:
Marilyn lives in St. George with her husband of over 50 years and together enjoy visits and frequent calls from their two daughters and five grandchildren. She loves to paint beautiful places, interesting people and meaningful things. Regardless of subject matter, approach or technique, her underlying mission is always the emergence from darkness into light, the journey from the earthly to the spiritual, reflecting our human experience.
